DEPARTMENT OF MINISTRY TO UNIFORMED PERSONNEL

Ministry to Uniformed Personnel

By: Kenneth S. Aballe

I am humbled and immensely grateful to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for allowing me to serve Him in this ministry.  His faithfulness sustains me and His sovereignty gives me the strength to go on.

I also am very grateful to the leadership of Mabolo Evangelical Free Church for their selfless support not just through prayer but also in making this ministry a joy to me. I also thank the Lord for the support my family has given me.

I am personally encouraged by the fact that the Lord has touched the heart of our EFCP President Rev. Ariel Jornales which led him to embrace and make this ministry one of ours thus forming a National Department in our denomination that would focus on ministering to our men and women in uniform.

A series of online meetings with pastors within the denomination have been conducted in order to brainstorm and create the said Department.

A group chat was officially created in order to gather and collate relevant ideas as well as keep the members updated on the individual activities of the members of this department.

The Lord provided the following opportunities to minister to the Men and Women In Uniform:

First of all, then, I urge that requests, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made in behalf of all people,  for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.  This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,  who wants all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
